C.F. Henson

FORT WORTH — C.F. Henson passed away peacefully Saturday, June 28, 2014, at the age of 81.
Celebration of life: 1:15 p.m. Thursday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Lane B. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Brown Owens & Brumley Family Funeral Home.
C.F. Henson was born May 16, 1933, to the late Robert and Mary Henson in Tyler. He proudly served our country by enlisting in the U.S. Army. C.F. will be remembered for his love of his family, his church and gardening.
C.F. was preceded in death by his parents; and son, Randall Stephen Henson.
Survivors: Loving wife of 61 years, Joann Henson; daughter, Carla Lamarque-Floerke and husband, Michael; brothers, Clyde Henson and Charles Henson; sister, Annie Henson; grandchildren, Micah Thornton and Lauren Johnson; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Mary Jane Thomas

FORT WORTH — Mary Jane Thomas passed away peacefully at her home in Fort Worth on Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at the age of 94.
Celebration of life: 10 a.m. Tuesday in Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel with Brother Barry Peterman officiating. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mary Jane was born May 22, 1920, to the late Elic and Ruth Couch in St. Louis, Mo. She was a graduate of the University of Tennessee School of Nursing. She retired as a nurse from Johns-Manville after 25 years of dedicated service but remained active with the University of Tennessee Alumni Association.
Mary Jane was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister who will be dearly missed by everyone.
Mary Jane was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Talmage Hardy Thomas Sr.; brothers, John and Harry Couch; and sister, Peggy Williams.
Survivors: Sons, Hardy Thomas and wife, Linda, and John Thomas and wife, Liliana; grandsons, Juan Cespedes and Danny Stacy; great-grandson, Steven Stacy; brothers, Jim Couch and wife, Jackie, and Tom Couch and wife, Vicki; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Jennifer Ann Martinez

FORT WORTH — Jennifer Ann Martinez passed away Sunday, June 22, 2014 at the age of 25.
Celebration of life: 1 p.m. Monday, June 30, 2014 in Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel.

Jennifer was born October 2, 1988 in Fort Worth to Frank and Jeanne. Jennifer will always be remembered for her giving and loving spirit.
Jennifer is preceded in death by her brother, Frank Martinez, Jr.; grandfathers, Fred Monroe and George Martinez.

Betty Jean Lake

FORT WORTH — Betty Jean Lake passed away peacefully Thursday, June 12, 2014, at the age of 85.
Graveside service: 3 p.m. Friday, June 27, in Grove Hill Cemetery, Dallas. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Brown, Owens & Brumley Family Funeral Home in Fort Worth.
Betty was born Jan. 23, 1929, in Benjamin to the late William “Bill” and Maude Snody. She graduated from Hardin-Simmons University. She taught elementary school for more than 20 years. Betty was a pastor’s wife and a true servant of God and a great mother and grandmother.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Lake; nine siblings; and one great-granddaughter, Destiny Marie.
Survivors: Daughters, Rebecca Jean Glass and Sally Marie Mahle; sons, Clyde Eugene Lake Jr. and Paul Lewis Lake; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Richard Fabian McDonald

FORT WORTH — Richard Fabian McDonald passed away Thursday, June 19, 2014, after a lengthy illness at the age of 81.
Memorial service: 11 a.m. Friday, July 11, in Brown, Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel.
Richard was born April 10, 1933, to the late Vincent and Irma McDonald in Canton, Ohio. Richard retired from Lockheed Martin/General Dynamics where he was a member of the Aerodynamics Machinists Union.
He was preceded in death by his son, Paul; brother, Tim; and sisters, Eileen and Marge.
Survivors: Wife of 59 years, Wanita McDonald; daughter, Pam McDonald; sons, Richard McDonald Jr., Pat McDonald and Bruce McDonald; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

FORT WORTH — Edward Charles Bloser, 74, passed away Saturday, June 14, 2014.
Graveside service: 11 a.m. Wednesday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Lane A.
Edward was born May 27, 1940, in New York City, N.Y., to the late Everett and Gertrude Bloser. Edward served his country in the U.S. Air Force.

Mildred Irene Alleman

FORT WORTH — Mildred Irene Alleman, 92, loving wife, mother and wonderful grandmother, passed away peacefully at a local hospital Tuesday, June 10, 2014.
Celebration of life: 10 a.m. Saturday at Christ Lutheran Church in Fort Worth. The family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Brown, Owens & Brumley.

Mildred was born in Halifax, Pa., and had resided in Fort Worth for 20 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Alleman; parents, Ira and Margaret Gebhart; sister, Annie; and brothers, Joel, Herb, and Harold.
Survivors: Daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Robert Shirey; son and daughter-in-law, Ellis and Bonnie Underkoffler; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
