Jeanie Anderson

FORT WORTH — Jeanie Anderson, 85, beloved wife and mother died Friday, July 18, 2014.
Jeanie was a gifted singer, songwriter and artist. She cared for everyone but most of all she loved Jesus.
Survivors: Husband, John; daughter, Terri Maggard; 4 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Doris Ann Brewer

FORT WORTH — Doris Ann Brewer passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at the age of 81.
Celebration of life: 10 a.m. Monday at Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel with Pastor Clayton Phillips officiating. Interment: Doris will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband, George Brewer Jr., in Tin Top Cemetery, Weatherford. Visitation: 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Doris was born Feb. 10, 1933, to the late George and Anna Lavin in Loartown, Md. She met and fell in love with the love of her life and they were married on Dec. 18, 1954, in Fort Leonardwood, Md.
Doris was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend who will be missed by us all.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents, George and Anna Lavin; husband, George Brewer Jr.; son, Richard Brewer; great-grandson, Samuyl Rivers; one brother; and one sister.
Survivors: Son, Alan Brewer and wife, Patricia; grandchildren, Michelle McCollum and husband, Craig, Leah Gore, Andy Brewer, Rachel Taylor, Jillian Taylor, Christie May Rivers and husband, Tyrone, and Amy Martin and husband, Kerry; 11 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Barbie Brewer; brothers, Dennis Lavin and Wayne Lavin; sister, Cleo Barnes; and many friends.

BEDFORD — Christine Gersch, 61, passed away Saturday, July 12, 2014.
Service: Private for the family.
She enjoyed spending time with her cat. May Christine now be at peace.
Christine was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Marian Gersch.
Survivors: Stepmother, Patricia; half brothers, Michael and Robert and wife, Jennifer; half sister, Tricia and husband, Rudy; and aunts, nieces, cousins and friends.

Cash “Cashman” Cooper

CROWLEY — Cash “Cashman” Cooper earned his angel wings and entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at the age of 2.

Cash was born Feb. 20, 2012, to Chris and Carrie Cooper in Fort Worth. He was such a vibrant, high-energy and loving little boy who was always excited and very happy. He loved cranes and in his own words, “excamaters.”
Survivors: Mom and Dad, Chris and Carrie Cooper; twin brother, C. J. Cooper; grandparents, Gary “Pop Pops” and Maxine “Mimi” Cooper; grandparents, Roy “Grandpa” and Erlys “Gramm” Johnson; and numerous loving family members and friends.

Josephine Fox-Golden

FORT WORTH — Josephine Fox-Golden passed away peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, July 14, 2014, in Norman, Okla., at the age of 92.
Graveside service: 3 p.m. Friday in the family plot in Granbury Cemetery, Granbury. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at Brown Owens & Brumley Family Funeral Home.

Josephine Alice Brown was born April 11, 1922, to Owen and Josephine Brown in Fort Worth. She grew up in Fort Worth and married John William Fox Jr. in 1942. Josephine and John had two children, John William Fox III and Pamela Jo Fox. Jo, as family and friends called her, was a member of Nyanca Court No. 34 of the Lady Shrine and a member of Eastern Star in Fort Worth. She managed a Top Value store, a Spencer Gifts store and retired in 1992 from Houston General Insurance Co. in Fort Worth. Jo was a member of Boulevard Baptist Church in Burleson. Due to her failing health, Jo had to recently stay in Norman, Okla., where she could be close to her family and live out her final days of her life.
The family would like to extend a special thank-you to Heartland Hospice for their loving support and tender care and Home Instead Senior Care for their help and support in Jo’s last days.
Josephine was preceded in death by her parents, Owen and Josephine Brown; brother, Owen Young Brown Jr.; her husband of 37 years, John William Fox Jr.; and her second husband of 12 years, Rufus A. Golden.
Survivors: Son and daughter-in-law, John and Cathe Fox of Norman, Okla.; daughter, Pamela Jo Fox of Norman, Okla.; granddaughters, Karen Fox Gunderson and her husband, Robert, of Edmond, Okla., Janice Fox and her husband, Dave Maynard, of Norman and Jennifer Renee Fox of Norman; great-grandchildren, Phillip, Sydney, Abigail and Sasha Gunderson, and Hunter and Preston Meister; and many friends.
