Myrtle E. “Sis” Graham

FORT WORTH — Myrtle E. “Sis” Graham passed away Sunday, Sept. 28, 2014, at the age of 84.
Graveside service: 1:30 p.m. Friday in Azleland Memorial Park. Memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Kingdom Hall Of Jehovah’s Witness, 4950 Williams Road, Fort Worth.

Mario John Mazzella

SAGINAW — Mario John Mazzella passed away Thursday, May 1, 2014 at the age of 79.
Memorial service: 2 p.m. Monday, May 5, 2014 in Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel.
Mario was born September 26, 1934 to the late Joseph and Anna Mazzella in Ponza, Italy. He proudly served our country by enlisting in the US Army. Mario was extremely talented with his hands and his work can be seen all around his home with all the projects he has done. He also was a collector of eagles and the United States flag. Mario was a devoted husband, father, brother and a kind and compassionate friend to all who were blessed enough to have known him. He will remain in our hearts forever.
Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee. O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth forever.
Survivors: Loving wife of 58 years, Janet Mazzella; daughter, Cecelia Mazzella; daughter, Marjorie Mazzella; son, Joseph Mazzella; and many friends.

Lorene “Lum” McDonald

FORT WORTH — Lorene “Lum” McDonald passed away peacefully Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2014, at the age of 89.
Graveside service: 11 a.m. Friday in Ash Creek Cemetery in Azle. Visitation: There will be no visitation.
Lorene was born April 14, 1925, to the late Peter and Mary Nichols in Oklahoma.
Lorene was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elmo James McDonald; daughter, Teresa Burleson; and son, James McDonald.
Survivors: Daughters, Mary, Gay, Debbie, Beverly and Connie; 17 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Cecil “C.B.” Land, Jr.

ARLINGTON — Cecil “C.B.” Land Jr. passed away Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2014, at the age of 76, after a courageous battle with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
Celebration of life: 1 p.m. Saturday at Brown, Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel. Interment: 9:30 a.m. Monday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Brown, Owens & Brumley Funeral Home.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
C.B. retired from AAFES in 1994 after a long career in human resources and post-retired from American Airlines in 2010. He was an avid golfer, runner and world traveler.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil B. Land Sr. and Jewell Land; sister, Erva Tampke; and daughter, Erin Land.
Survivors: Wife, Sarah Land; children, Katherine Harms and Kelly Land; stepchildren, Sherry Hall, Susan Muse and Steven Walker; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters, Jackie Reeves and Janene Davis; brother-in-law, Bob Reeves; many nephews and nieces; and countless beloved lifelong friends.

Kathleen June Wheeler

FORT WORTH — Kathleen June Wheeler passed away peacefully Monday, Sept. 8, 2014, at the age of 92.
Memorial service: To be announced later.
Kathleen was born May 26, 1922, to the late Lee Dennis and Bessie Irvine in Ojibwa, Wis. Kathleen was a member of the Order of Eastern Star.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Charles Wheeler; and daughter, Darlene Turnbull.
Survivors: Son, Chuck Wheeler and wife, Colleen; daughter, Luana Hawk; grandchildren, Andrea Hawk, Tara Wheeler, Kelly Wheeler, Justin Wheeler, Wendi Hevelow, Debbie Pancrazio, Deanna Turnbull, Karl Turnbull and Troy Turnbull; nine great-grandchildren; some great-great-grandchildren; niece, Valerie Oliver; and many friends.
