John “Johnny” “Element” Heller

ALEDO — John “Johnny” “Element” Heller passed away Friday, April 24, 2015, at the age of 29.
Celebration of life: 3 p.m. Friday, May 1, at Wheatland Baptist Church, 15910 Hwy. 377, Fort Worth, Dr. Dick Garrett officiating. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Brown Owens & Brumley Family Funeral Home and 1 to 3 p.m. Friday at the church.
Johnny was born to John and Irma Heller, Feb. 13, 1986, in Kerrville. He graduated from Aledo High School, class of 2004, where his schoolmates tagged him “Element.” He began a career in welding. Johnny will be missed for his cranky and grumpy, loving ways by all of us. Most of all, my precious son, you will be dearly missed forever. I will see you again some day with our Jesus.
Johnny was preceded in death by his father, John Heller.
Survivors: Beautiful daughter, Leighton Jade and her mother, Kori Bean; mother, Irma Heller; aunt, Beverly; aunt, Beatrice; uncle, Tony; numerous other family members; and many friends he considered as family.

FORT WORTH — Carolyn Williams, loving mother, grandmother and sister, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2015, at the age of 72.
Graveside service: 1 p.m. Saturday in St. Olaf “Rock Church” Cemetery in Cranfills Gap. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Brown, Owens & Brumley Family Funeral Home.
Carolyn was born Oct. 4, 1942, in Dalhart to the late Herman and Eunice Mickelson. She enjoyed baking and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and other family on the 250-acre farm in Iredell.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband of 52 years, Jerry Williams.
Survivors: Sons, Tim Williams and wife, DeeDee, and Todd Williams and wife, Kristi; grandchildren, Breanna, Tyler, Kiley, Kolton, Tiffany, Karington, Amanda and Chris; sister, Nancy Holden and husband, Roy; and many other extended family members and friends.

Steven Lee Jensen

FORT WORTH — Steven Lee Jensen passed away peacefully Sunday, April 19, 2015, at the age of 74.
Celebration of life: 4 p.m. Friday at West Side Campus of Care, 1950 Las Vegas Trail, Fort Worth.
Steven was born Aug. 15, 1940, to the late Leo and Anna Jensen in Salt Lake City, Utah. After graduating from High School, Steven played minor league baseball in the Dodgers’ organization. He proudly served our country by enlisting in the U.S. Army. He attended Texas Western College (University of Texas-El Paso) during the season when the men’s basketball team won the 1966 NCAA National Championship. He worked for the Corps of Engineers and was also in the Army Reserves. Steven ran the Liberty Stamp Shop for two years before his health made working full time a difficult task. He was well respected by many and will be certainly missed by us all.
Steven was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 32 years, Patricia Jensen; and brothers, Jim Jensen and Ray Jensen.
Survivors: Stepson, James Foley; and his many friends at West Side Campus of Care and Westchester Plaza.

Billie Ruth Sampley

North Richland Hills — Billie Ruth Sampley passed away Thursday, April 17, 2015, at the age of 84.

Billie was born May 1, 1930, in Paris, Texas, to the late John and Florence Norrell.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, W.R. Sampley.
Survivors: Daughter, Susan McGinty and husband, David; son, Gary Strawn; sisters, Christine Boorman, Melba Ball and Mary Merritt; brother, Johnny Norrell; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many other extended family members and friends.
