Bay Duc Tran

FORT WORTH — Bay Duc Tran, 81, passed away Friday, Dec. 23, 2016.
Service: 8 a.m. to Noon, Wednesday, Jan. 4, at Brown, Owens & Brumley’s Chapel. Visitation: 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3, at the funeral home.
Survivors: Wife, Me Thi Pham; children, Dai, Johnson, Maivu, Hong and Huong Tran.

Clint Cummings

MANSFIELD — Clint Cummings, 36, passed away at his home on Friday, December 23, 2016 surrounded by his loving family.
Services are pending at this time, however there is a Memorial Service planned to be held at Sparrows Tattoo Company in Mansfield.
Clint was the owner of Sparrows Tattoo Company in Mansfield Texas. He was a contestant on the second season of Ink Masters and also starred in the series “Tattoo Nightmares Miami” as well as starring and tattooing on Ink Master Redemption. Clint is a very highly sought after artist and holds a very high stature in the Tattoo Artist industry. The family sends a very special Thank You to Eli Ellison for youtube:needleboys. His life will live on in many people through his renowned artistic work.
Survivors include his parents, Renee “NayNay” and Lenny Cummings; brother, Cody Cummings; grandparents, Charles Trippeda and Norma Cummings; girlfriend, Kate Moore; his fur babies; dog-Elway and cat-Jeep; and numerous family and friends.
In lieu of flowers: Donations may be made to Fight Colorectal Cancer in Clint Cummings name.

David Clyde McMurphy

SAN ANTONIO — David Clyde McMurphy passed away Saturday, December 10, 2016, at the age of 60.
Celebration of life: 2 p.m. Saturday, January 7, 2017, in Grace Chapel at Castle Hills Baptist Church, 2220 NW Military Hwy, San Antonio, TX 78213, Pastor David George officiating.

David was born in Wiggins, MS on April 10, 1956 to Ezra and Juanita McMurphy. He graduated from Killeen High School and attended college at Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, TX. He was a proud member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. His career was in real estate.
David and Sharon owned Property Elite Management of San Antonio, TX. He enjoyed reading, going to the Texas Renaissance Festival, family vacations, riding bicycles, telling stories, working out and cooking for the family.
In his younger years, he was an avid sky diver, and he was a sky diving instructor with over 2000 jumps. David always had fond memories of being Glurpo the Clown at Aquarena Springs in San Marcos, TX, during his college days.
David was a loving husband, father, son, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend and will be deeply missed by us all.
David is preceded in death by his father, Ezra McMurphy; and his younger brother, Ethan Padgett.
Survivors: David is survived by his wife, Sharon McMurphy; daughter, Lauren McMurphy, of San Antonio; mother, Juanita McMurphy of Huntsville, TX; sister, Angele Jackson of Highlands, TX; nephew, Dusty Pyle and wife, Shelby of Burleson, TX; step-son, Shannon Henderson and wife, Jodi of Spring Branch, TX; step-daughter, Shari Harrison and companion, Missy Moorman of San Antonio, TX.; numerous grandchildren; and many friends.

Shirley Jeanette Royall

FORT WORTH — Shirley Jeanette Royall passed away Sunday, Dec. 18, 2016, at the age of 70.
Celebration of life: 1 p.m. Thursday at Brown, Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel. Visitation: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday prior to the service. Interment: Shirley will be laid to rest at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27, in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Paducah.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Pearl Miller.

BENBROOK — Merrick Daniel McDonald passed away Sunday, Dec. 11, 2016, at the age of 54.

Merrick was born Dec. 16, 1961, to Wilmer and Lydia McDonald in England.

Alan Francis Linden

ARLINGTON — Alan Francis Linden, 73, of Arlington passed away Sunday, Dec. 11, 2016, at his home surrounded by his family.
Celebration of life: 2 p.m. Saturday at Advent Lutheran Church, 3232 S Cooper, Arlington, 76015.
Alan was born Nov. 29, 1943, in London, England, to Jack and Katherine Linden. On Oct. 18, 1997, he married Linda of Arlington. Alan was employed by American Eagle/Lisa Trucking of FFE. Earlier in his career, he maintained machinery in a button factory. Alan was a volunteer fireman for TGE community in Long Island, N.Y., where he grew up. And, he loved performing in the San Angelo Civic Theater. Post retirement, Alan enjoyed greeting and driving visitors on the City of Arlington Entertainment District Trolley, where in 2010, he loved taking fans to the first Texas Rangers Home World Series games and the city’s first Superbowl. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors: Alan is survived by his wife, Linda K. Linden; sons and daughters, Alan Linden Jr. of Pennsylvania, Mark Archipolo and wife, Ronda, of Abilene, John Linden and Krystal of San Angelo, Joe Ellison and Shane Gatenby of Austin, Julian Ellison and wife, Debbie, of Westport, Conn., Elizabeth Luna and Ernie of San Angelo and Kelly Linden. He is also survived by grandchildren, Alicia, Tony, Michael, Kaitlynne, JW, Jesse, Kali, Alan, Lily, Alyssa and Brooke. He is survived by his sister, Jackie Linden-Schade and Henry of McKinney; nephew, Christopher and wife, Erica Schade, and their sons, Auron and Hunter; plus great-grandchild, Noah, due in January.
Special thanks to Care Cycle Home Health and Asana hospice for all the love, care and comfort they provided. The best part of his care was the extraordinary celebration of his 73rd birthday party.

Chuck Nelson Batchelor

BENBROOK — Chuck N. Batchelor passed away Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2016, at the age of 33.
Celebration of life: 2 p.m. Monday at Brown, Owens & Brumley Family Funeral Home. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Chuck was born Oct. 31, 1983, in North Richland Hills. Chuck loved his family; his dog, Bear; music; and people. He worked at the Dixie House for several years.
He will be missed by us all and will remain in our hearts forever.
Chuck was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bob and Kay; and aunt, Susie.
