Norma Jean Gandy

FORT WORTH-Norma Jean Gandy passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at the age of 91.
Graveside service: 1 p.m. Friday at Fairview Cemetery in Bronte.  Visitation:  5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Norma was born June 28, 1925 in Bronte to the late John Elliott and Dollie Mae Pruitt. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother and friend and will be deeply missed.
Norma is preceded in death by her parents; son, Jimmie Edward Brunette and grandson, Kelly Brunette.
Survivors: Son, John Brunette and wife, Sue; daughter, Beverly Geurin and husband, John; grandchildren, Kim Ware, Johnna Bridges, Martha Jean Geurin and Misty Brunette; great grandchildren, Kristen Lindner, Kyle Ware, Adam Campbell and Matthew Geurin- Garcia; great-great grandchildren, Kayla and Baylor Lindner and Lily Campbell; numerous cousins; and many friends.

Genevil Branch Scott

Genevil Branch Scott loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt passed away Saturday, June 10, 2017 in Fort Worth, Texas at the age of 52.
Genevil was born June 25, 1964, in Canton, Mississippi to Willie Earl Shappard and Ann Lee Branch.
Celebration of life: 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 23, 2017, at Brown, Owens & Brumley Funeral Home’s Chapel.
Survivors: Son, Christopher D. Raymond O’Shea Wells

Raymond O’Shea Wells, 61, of Parker County, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, May 30, 2017, in Mineral Wells, Texas. Celebration of life: 1 p.m. Saturday, June 17, at The Church at Azle, 1801 S. Stewart St. Raymond was born May 4, 1956, in Waynesboro, Miss., to James E. Sr and Mary Lee Wells. Since 1959, Raymond was raised by his foster parents, JT and Ola English, in Azle. Raymond served the citizens of Tarrant, Parker and Palo Pinto counties as a Master Firefighter and Fire Investigator, his countless volunteer hours since the age of 18 was his passion; his fire brothers and sisters were his family along with the Knights of Pythias. Rest easy brother, we’ll take it from here. We will never forget you and your service to our communities. Raymond is preceded in death by his parents and foster parents, brother, James Edward Wells Jr.; sisters, Mary Nell Strong and Connie Lee Wells. Survivors: Sister, Lou Karaisaridis of Ellisville, Miss.; nephews, David, Paul and George; and his large fire department family and friends.

Maria Carmen Cuevas

FORT WORTH–Maria Carmen Cuevas passed away Saturday, June 10, 2017 at the age of 58.
Celebration of life: 1 p.m. Thursday at Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel.
Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Maria Carmen was born August 21, 1958 in Lubbock to Santos and Antonia Cuevas. Maria will be remembered for her strong work ethic and for the love for her family and pets. She will be deeply missed by us all.
Maria is preceded in death by her mother, Antonia Cuevas.
Survivors: Husband of 23 years, Denis Rando; sons, Leon Cuevas and wife, Elizabeth, and Daniel Cuevas and wife, Jamie; daughter, Isabel Rando; grandchildren, Marissa, Omar and Gabriel; father, Santos Cuevas Sr.; brothers, Santos Cuevas Jr. and Tony Cuevas; sisters, Mary Jane Berlanga and Delia Cuevas; many extended family members; and many friends.

ARLINGTON–Jocelyn Proulx passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2017, at the age of 32.

Jocelyn was born October 10, 1984 in Arlington to Raymond and Carolyn Proulx. Jocelyn was a loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, and aunt and will be deeply missed.
