Michael (Mike) Dale Goldsmith

FORT WORTH- Michael (Mike) Dale Goldsmith lost his life to COPD on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at the age of 55.
Celebration of life: 12 p.m. Friday, February 23, 2018 at Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B Brown Memorial Chapel.
He will be laid to rest in Azleland Memorial Park in Azle,Texas.
Mike graduated Crowley high school in 1983.
Mike enjoyed his life by country dancing, playing pool, and working on cars. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and grandkids.
Mike is preceded in death by his mother, Marnie L. Falke; and sister, Sheila D. Wise.
Survivors: Daughter, Tiffany Cornell husband, Michael, grandkids Madison Cornell, Chad Cornell and Collin Cornell; father, James C. Falke Sr.; brother, James C.Falke Jr.; sister, Lori Falke; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews and friends.

Duane Bernard Harris

FORT WORTH—Duane Bernard Harris passed away Sunday, February 11, 2018 at the age of 53.
Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Friday, February 16, 2018 at True Vine Missionary Baptist Church,
3732 Miller Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas 76119 with Pastor Jack A. Crane and Rev. Don Harris officiating.
Duane was born May 27, 1964 to Don and Gail Harris in Fort Worth. He was a graduate of Southwest High School in 1982. Duane was gifted as a painter and that showed through on some of the paintings he did. He will be remembered for his love for animals.  He attended Champions Community Church in Houston, Texas, senior pastor, Steve Austin and associate pastors, Matt and Chase Austin.
Duane is preceded in death by his daughter, Tiffany Daniels.
Survivors: Parents, Don and Gail Harris; brother, Dominique Harris; sister, Taunya Franklin; sister, Christian Harris; three aunts; three great aunts; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and very close family friend, Renee Anderson.

Evelyn Ruth Sporman

KELLER-Evelyn Ruth Sporman went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at the age of 77.
Celebration of life: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at The Bowden, 1775 Keller Parkway, Keller, Texas 76248
Visitation: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel with Rosary beginning at 7 p.m.
Interment: Evelyn will be laid to rest in Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery at 1 p.m. Thursday.
Evelyn was born October 7, 1940 to the late Russell and Helen Chynoweth in Hammond, Indiana. She met and fell in love with the love of her life, Fred Sporman and they were united in marriage June 18, 1960 and celebrated 57 years together. Evelyn will always be remembered for the love and devotion she held for her family and the time she spent with them all. Her legacy will live on through her daughters and grandchildren and she will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
The family would like to say a special thank you to each and every staff member at Legend Oaks & Health Care and Asana Hospice for their outstanding compassion and care they provided to Evelyn and our family in our time of need.
Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Delores Chynoweth; sister, Florence Cummings; and numerous other family members and dear friends.

Horst “Mike” Michael Henss

CROWLEY–Horst “Mike” Michael Henss lost his battle with lung cancer Thursday morning, February 8th, 2018 at the young age of 59.
Celebration of life: Saturday, February 24th 4pm to 8pm at Mike’s residence in Crowley, Texas.
Mike was born April 13th, 1958 in Germany and moved to Texas with his Grandparents in 1965. He graduated from O.D Wyatt High School in 1976. He was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2017 and spent the remainder of his time here with his family and friends doing the things that he was passionate about. He loved the outdoors, fishing, camping, and spending time in Port Aransas, Texas with the ones he loved.
Mike leaves behind his mother, Eleanor Hauika; his beautiful wife, Stacey; daughter, Amy Traylor; son, Brian Traylor; son, Michael Henss; son, Bryan Henss; three cherished grandchildren, Christopher Traylor, Madisen Cain and Breanna Cain; He also leaves behind a loving family and friends that he cared for dearly.

Fama Beth Midkiff

FORT WORTH—Fama Beth Midkiff passed away Thursday, February 1, 2018 at the age of 84.
Celebration of life: 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel.
Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at the funeral home.
Interment: Fama will be laid to rest with her beloved husband of 51 years, Harold H. Midkiff in Laurel Land Memorial Park.
Fama is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Ruby Walker; husband, Harold H. Midkiff; daughter-in-law, Edna; grand son-in-law, Justin Kemble; two sisters; and two brothers.
Survivors: Son, Sammy Midkiff and wife, Barbara; son, Harold Duwayne Midkiff; grandsons, Jason and Casey Midkiff; granddaughters, Lindy Campbell, Samantha Kemble and Holly Beverly; great-grandsons, Kevin, Hunter, Ryan, Sebastian, Gavin, Zander, Titus and Tyrrell; great-granddaughters, Kelsey, Trinity, and Barbara; six brothers and sisters; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Joe Willie McClellan

FORT WORTH–Joe Willie McClellan was born in Palestine, Texas on March 9, 1934 to Hester Pearl(Young) and Smith McClellan. He passed from this life to the next on January 28, 2018.
Memorial service: 11 a.m. Monday, February 5, 2018 at Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel.
He is survived by his 5 children born to his union to Inez West, Tommy McClellan of Bakersfield, California; Etta Pearl McClellan of Hampton, Virginia; Barbara Ammons and Son-in-law Ricky Ammons of Hampton Virginia, Ricki McClellan of Chesterfield, Virginia and Gregory McClellan of Hampton, Virginia. He also leaves behind two sisters Mary Edwards of Burleson, Texas and Shirley Harris of Fort Worth, Texas and step daughter, Barbara Gatewood of Fort Worth, Texas.  Joe Willie was blessed with 11 grandchildren, Lovie, Amy, David, Elizabeth, Matthew, Theresa, Cory (deceased) Christopher, Steffon, Gregory Jr. and Jacqueline; step-grandchildren, Scott, Meredith, Daniel and wife, Emily along with their two children; 12 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Joe Willie will be remembered for his fishing, carpentry, truck ownership and his unique sense of humor. No one could make you laugh like Grandpa Joe.
Joe was preceded in death by his loving wife Mary Marie McClellan of 43 years; his parents, Hester Pearl and Smith McClellan; and 2 brothers, James and Matthew McClellan; grandson, SSG. Cory McClellan; step-daughter, Weslea Conroy and stepson-in-law, Lloyd Gatewood.

Arthur James Slater

FORT WORTH–Arthur James Slater, 88, passed away Tues., Jan. 16, 2018.
Memorial service: 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 15th at Handley United Methodist Church.
Arthur was born Sept. 19, 1929 in Hettinger, ND. He was in the Army when he met Billie Walker. They were married in 1952 and just celebrated their 65th anniversary.
Survivors: Wife, Billie Jo Slater; son, James Slater; brothers, Donald and James Slater; sisters, Agnes and Lorraine.
