Esther Wicker

FORT WORTH-Esther Wicker passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Thursday, June 13, 2019 at the age of 89.
Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel.
Esther was born Tuesday, October 8, 1929 to the late Charles Daniels and Ann Dorsey in Chicago, Illinois. She became a nurse’s aide and retired after many years spent in the medical field. Esther was a loving mother, grandmother and friend and will be deeply missed.
Esther is preceded in death by her husband, Bunyan Wicker, CW3 US Army Retired; and sons, Richard Wise and Anthony D. Wise.
Survivors: Son, Dennis V. Wise and wife, Brenda; son, John Anthony Wicker and wife, Luchi; daughter, Jacqueline Wise; sister, Mary Ann Douroux; brother-in-law, Henry Burton and wife,Sarah; 15 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends.

Dan Middleton Stokes

FORT WORTH-Dan Middleton Stokes passed away Monday, June 10, 2019 at the age of 78.
Graveside service: 1:30 p.m. Friday, June 21,2019 at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, Lane 3.
Dan was born December 29, 1940 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He proudly served his country by enlisting in the US Air Force. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend and will be deeply missed.
Survivors: Wife, Carol Stokes; daughter, Amy Negret; five grandchildren; and many friends.

Cindy Sue Pierce

FORT WORTH-Cindy Sue Pierce passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at the age of 61.
Celebration of life: 2 p.m. Monday, June 17, 2019 at Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel, Chaplain Paul Reedy officiating.
Visitation: 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. before service time.
Cindy was born Saturday, November 9, 1957 to Joseph and Maebell Davis in Laredo, Texas. She dedicated her life to making others happy. She loved cooking, reading, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved and cared for anyone she came in contact with.
Cindy is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Maebell Davis; and brother, David Davis.
Survivors: She leaves behind her sons, Justin Hooper and wife, Shana Stroud; and Daniel Gibbons; daughter, Deanna Gibbons; grandsons, Jaxon, Jett, Jagger, Ayden and Andre; sister, Judy Davis-Tallet and husband, Greg Tallet; and many extended family members and friends.

Marie Anderson McNamee

FORT WORTH-Marie Anderson McNamee passed away peacefully Sunday, June 2, 2019 at the age of 78.
Memorial service: 2 p.m. Saturday, July 6, 2019 at Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel.

Marie was born Thursday, January 9, 1941 to the late Wesley and Bobbie Anderson in Gilbert, Louisiana and grew up there. Her career was entertainer/singer for the band, Tom & Marie, advertising for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, restaurant owner/operator, plumbing service owner/operator and customer service at Wal Mart. She love music and singing karaoke, crocheting, reading books and loved the outdoors just watching the wildlife and also watching the grandkids. Marie loved to sit on the porch to watch the hummingbirds flutter around. She also loved the Texas Rangers Baseball. She loved her family dearly and was extremely proud of all of them. Marie was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be deeply missed.
Marie is preceded in death by her parents, Wesley and Bobbie Anderson; and sister, Evelyn Carver.
Survivors: Son, Ed Jester and wife, Martha; daughter, Debbie Lange and husband, Dennis; son, Gary Jester and wife, Jamie; daughter, Shelly Hale and husband, Brian; sister, Mildred Noble; brother, John Anderson; sister, Bobbie Sproles; brother, James Anderson and wife, Faye; brother, Frank Anderson and wife, Billye; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and many friends.

Cynthia “Cindy” Jean Ramsey

FORT WORTH-Cynthia “Cindy” Jean Ramsey, was surrounded by her loving family and went to be with the Lord Friday, May 31, 2019 at the age of 60.
Celebration of Life: 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 8, 2019 at The Met Church, 11301 N. Riverside Dr., Fort Worth, Texas 76244, Sr. Pastor Dan Hooper officiating.
Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Friday evening at The Met Church.
Interment: Cindy will be laid to rest at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Fort Worth, Texas near her family, Bro. Don Wills officiating.
Cindy was born in Fort Worth, Texas on September 4, 1958 to Robert Wayne Hawkins & Bennie Jean Kennedy Hawkins. She met her husband Bill Ramsey and they have had 42 beautiful years of marriage and served together as Pastors of First Baptist Church of Fort Worth before they came to Keller and started The Met Church for the past 20 years. They have joyfully served side by side displaying a deep love for each other, their children and their church family. Cindy exemplified the true meaning of a Godly Christian woman in her life every day. She spoke at many women’s events and loved to be with her husband, children and grandchildren.
Cindy is preceded in death by her father, Robert Wayne Hawkins; grandparents, Harlan and Imogene Kennedy and Clarence Hawkins and Thelma Wright.
Survivors: Husband of 42 years, Bill Ramsey; daughter, Shannon Ramsey Townsley and husband, Rick; son, Billy Ramsey and wife, Whitney; grandchildren, Samuel Townsley, Emma Townsley, William Townsley and Everly Ramsey; mother, Bennie Hawkins; brother, Keith Hawkins; brother, Kenny Wayne Hawkins and wife, Robin; aunt and uncle, Linda and Hardy Thomas; cousins, Danny Stacy and Steven Stacy; and countless family and friends all over the world.
