Allen Eugene Rumbaugh Jr.

Allen Eugene Rumbaugh, Jr. of Fort Worth, Texas age 84 died on March 27, 2016 from heart complications.  He was born in Shreveport. Louisiana on November 28, 1931 to Allen Eugene Rumbaugh, Sr. and Mary Elva Kirklin Rumbaugh. He went to Texas Christian University and graduated from Austin Peay State University. Most of his life he and his late father worked for A.R.P. Corporation in Odessa, Texas. After a move to Nashville, Tennessee, Al Gene worked as a designer and florist. He returned to Dallas, Texas in 1980 to work for Ives Carpet and Interior Design.  After his retirement, Al Gene returned to Fort Worth. He is survived by his children daughter, Rebecca Rumbaugh Grohman of Granbury, Texas, sons, Allen E. Rumbaugh, III of Mount Juliet, Tennessee, Preston Rumbaugh of Memphis, Tennessee, Aaron Rumbaugh of Longwood, Florida.  He has three grandchildren, Ashley Lynn Duncan Vicenzi of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Kate Rumbaugh Patterson and Eric Rumbaugh of Nashville, Tennessee. Three great-grandchildren Chloe Marie and Isabell Vicenzi and Heath Patterson. Allen Eugene Rumbaugh memorial service will be in Forest Park Cemetery in Shreveport, Louisiana.
