FORT WORTH — Candy Bartlett passed away Sunday, Sept. 15, 2013, at the age of 62.
Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Thursday in Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel with Pastor Kent Sparks of Cross Timbers Community Church in Argyle officiating.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital.
Candy was born Sept. 7, 1951, to Jack and Bette Smith in Fort Worth. Candy was a library aide at Thomas Haley Elementary School in Irving for many years. Candy was a devoted wife, daughter, mother, grandmother and friend who leaves behind a loving family so very grateful for her love and support. She will be deeply missed by all, and will remain in our hearts forever.
Candy was preceded in death by her father, Jack Smith.
Survivors: Husband, Tom Bartlett; son, Marc Bartlett and wife, Keri, and their sons, Suleiman, Jack and Reed; son, Scott Bartlett; brother, Mike Smith and wife, Debbie; mother, Bette Smith; nephew, Tim Smith and wife, Kara, and their daughter, Landry; niece, Stephanie Smith; brothers-in-law, Sandy Bartlett and Lou Faiel-Dattilo; sister-in-law, Anne Bartlett Carey; and lifelong friends, Janet Brockles and Mary D. Smith.
