    • Bill and Leslie Donahue

      Bill, Shannon, Billy and family,
Our hearts hurt for all of you. Cindy was such a special lady and always lit up the room when she walked into The Met. Our prayers are with all of you to find comfort in this time.

  4. Our hearts are broken to see her leave us so soon, and for Bill and his precious family, but it also rejoices knowing that for her to be absent from the body is for her to be present with The LORD.
I had the blessing and privilege to know Cindy for 40 years and the blessing to serve in ministry with her for at least 15 years. It was a joy to share in life together as we had our children and watched them grow up together most of their young lives. We have so many found, loving and fun memories with Dr.Bill and Cindy, and we will always cherish them in our hearts. Last night I smiled as I recalled times the staff would be at their home for a special occasion and we would decide in the evening to go to a movie and after the movie we’d decide we would watch another and then another. We would have a “movie marathon “ till the wee hours of the morning (we could do that then because we were much younger) We love you Bill, Shannon and Billy and as long as God keeps us here we will be here for you! With much love and prayers

  5. Condolences for this beautiful family. May God heal all your hearts and remind you He is there as your comforter.

    With sincere sympathy,

  42. Chelsie | August & Cash

My heart is utterly broken for you all! I didn’t have a church from the time I was 17 – 37 years old. A friend brought me to The Met and I heard Bill
Speak and I cried during service and realized- I found the church home I always wanted! I finally felt at home and I couldn’t wait to hear more and more lessons about the Bible that I so – yearned to underStand growing up Catholic! Bill and his words and love for his family touched my soul so deep that it changed me! 3 years later I got baptized and welcomed my new son with Bill and Cindy in a dedication at The Met. To make a long story short- I really didn’t know what faith truly was- I didn’t know what the Bible truly meant- and Bill changed that through his teaching of love and life and family! My hearts aches for you all- you give this world so much light and love and truth- it’s hard to believe you have to live through this loss right now, but, please know that your love for your family shined a light in my life and my family and I will forever be grateful!!! All my love to you all- thanks fo being a beacon of light and love!

  43. Dianne (Di) Ward

I knew Cindy through our pastor Bill. His smile with the mere mention of her name, his jokes of how she would send him to the store and once again “he got it wrong” – but yet with a cute and funny reply…she was ok with it.
The so many “Billisms” and she handled it beautifully and with grace. So I’m told.
I knew Cindy through her beautiful children and grands…and I knew her spirit as I felt it in the church she helped erect.
I knew Cindy from the love Pastor Bill had for her, the many times her diagnosis brought him verbally to his knees as he preached. The tears, pain and sorrow we all could not help but feel…and deep to my core. I knew and honored what they had, but never have myself.
    Dear Dr. Bill, our beloved pastor and Ramsey family;
How wonderful to have had that lovely Angel among you, to have learned from a a beautiful soul and stunning human being…with a smile as genuine as the day is long.
I never met Cindy personally – face to face, but I know her. And to know her is to love her,
I am so sorry she had to leave so soon.

    Bye for now sweet Cindy.

  44. Cindy was such a blessing in so many lives. She gave such wisdom and showed God’s love in everything she did. My life is changed from just the short time we were in bible study together. She inspired me and so many others to live each day for the Lord!

  45. Prayers and much love for Bill, Shannon, Billy, the entire family, and her brothers and sisters in Christ. What a beautiful soul that heaven has gained and will be much more precious when we get there. Psalm 61:2, “From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.”

    Love in Christ,
    David, Linda, and Tory Weaver

    Ramsey Family,

We were not blessed to know Cindy personally, although we feel like we did. Her legacy will live forever – If not for Cindy and Pastor Bill and the MET church we don’t know where we would be today. God brought us to the MET and we are forever grateful. May the wonderful memories of her life always bring a smile to your faces. Our sincere sympathy.

  54. Keneta Gaillardet

Our family grieves your leaving your family, but we rejoice in the knowledge the separation will only be a “moment in the Lord’s time”. We have many memories of years gone by and KNOW we will see you again in heaven.

  55. “How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.” A.A. Milne
Dearest Bill, Shannon & Rick, Billy & Whitney, Emma, Sam, William, Evie, Bennie, Keith, Kenny Wayne and Robin … I know these are very difficult days for each of you and I am so sorry you are suffering. I can’t fully grasp the ways Cindy’s absence affects each of you from day to day but I know there is anguish and so I pray, and pray some more, asking God to hold you in his arms and overwhelm you with his nearness, his comfort and his new mercy each day. I miss her, too. I think of her every day and spend hours listening to songs on our “70’s In A Yellow Bug” playlist, tearful reminders of our wonderful carefree days as friends. I will forever be grateful to God for the gift of her friendship to me and the way she loved me unconditionally, then and now. I know she is with Jesus and I truly believe she is “just around the corner.” My sweet Cindy, thank you for being the person with whom I could share anything and know you would still love me. I will see you at the resurrection.

  56. I’m so very sorry my prayers are with y’all. Lu (Louise)
