Condolence Messages

  1. Madel Beukes :

Dear family of Mrs. Dorothy Craig,

Our condolences with the passing of Mrs. Dorothy.

In 2001, we arrived in FW from South Africa, and while attending SWBTS, our Lord made our path to cross with that of Mrs. Dorothy. How thankful we are to Him, and praise Him for her life.

She was a “grandmother” to our children, and to our family a very dear friend.

How do we remember her: She Loved us very much!
She was always glad to see us. Her heart was like her garden… a wealth of blossoms; a still retreat; sweet as the breath of roses blown, the fragrance of her life. (from: MY Mother’s Garden, by Alice E. Allen). Many a time we had watermelon on the back lawn… she enjoyed sitting on the grass :).

The children remember the yummy dumplings she made. She also taught us to eat okra and how to cook it :). Her pecan pie was our all time favorite – the best in the world! But sweeter than the pecan pie was the fellowship we shared: laughing and crying together, reading from the Bible, praying, and her favorite part – the singing.

How we will miss Mrs. Dorothy. Our hearts are with your hearts as you mourn her loss. She loved her family so much, and was always so proud of her great-granddaughters.

But praise be to our God, He prepared a place for her in heaven, and received her to Himself. (John 14:1-3)

The grace of the the Lord Jesus be with all.

    Love in Christ
    Gideon, Madel, Febe(21), Hannes(19), and Martin(16).
