Edgar L. “Frog” Burns

FORT WORTH — Edgar L. “Frog” Burns, 79, responded to the last alarm and went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 13, 2015.
Celebration of life: 1 p.m. Tuesday at Hallmark Baptist Church in Fort Worth. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Brown, Owens & Brumley Funeral Home.
Edgar was a lifetime resident of Fort Worth and member of Hallmark Baptist Church. He served Fort Worth as a firefighter for 33 years and was a ham radio operator, KC5NQM.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Florence and Van Burns; and his three sisters, Edith Morris, Opal Blood and Maurice Gammons.
Survivors: Wife of 54 years, Mary Ann Burns; son, Jeff Burns and wife, Tracy; daughter, Jana Williams and husband, Mitch.
