Jimmie “Jimbo” Nance

FORT WORTH-Jimmie “Jimbo” Nance passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at the age of 64.

Celebration of life: 10 a.m. Saturday at Brown, Owens & Brumley Family Funeral Home’s Chapel.

Jimbo was born April 2, 1952, in Waxahachie to Johnny and Georgia Nance. Jimbo loved his red Mazda Miata which he named “Booger” and it had its own special space in his garage. He was often seen cruising down the streets of River Oaks with his wife and the radio blasting . He loved music and especially the 60’s and 70’s that included the Beatles. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother & friend and will be missed by all those who loved and appreciated everything he was and all of the wonderful memories he has left us with.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Marshall Nance and Curly Franks; and sister, Melba Boles.

Survivors: Wife, Margaret Nance; daughters, Felicia Brucker and Deborah Smith and husband, Billy; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Crystal Wilson, Marilyn Carrigan and husband, Dale and Delta Ellis and husband, Norman; numerous family and friends.
