Michael Gene Hicks

MIDLAND — Mike Hicks passed away Saturday, January 9, 2016, at the age of 60, surrounded by his family in Corpus Christi.
Memorial service: A private family service will be held at a later date.
Mike was born October 28, 1955 to Bob and Gloria Hicks in Uvalde, TX. He was a master electrician, an avid fisherman and a devoted ranch hand. He was a loving father and grandfather and will be deeply missed.
Mike is preceded in death by mother, Gloria Ann Hicks.
Survivors: Daughter, Shelby Hicks Pyle and husband, Dusty; daughter, Amber Hicks; son, Troy Hicks; mother of two of his children, Debra Hicks; grandchildren, Meredith and Dade; father, Bob Hicks; sister, Deborah Corby and husband, Chris; sister, Gale Thompson; sister, Lisa Meade and husband, Luis; brother, Patrick Hicks and wife, Brenda; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
