LAKE WORTH-Alicia Lynn McDonald passed away May 9, 2021 at the age of 50.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: Private
Alicia was born November 20, 1970 to Larry McDonald and Anita Young McDonald in Hill County, Texas.
While attending school at Haltom High School, she was chosen as a student with exponential talent to attend cosmetology classes in those formative years. Throughout her years she had several places of employment but the only work she found suitable and a good fit was being an attentive and loving mother and grandmother. The birth of each of her children gave our father great joy and he is thankful for us from her each day. Even when things were hard, she always had a soft smile, a wise word and open arms for comfort.
Alicia had an artistic talent she crafted jewelry, painted in her free time, and expressed herself through short stories and poetry. She was a great lover of music, singing, dancing and occasionally even composing lyrics. As creative and talented as she was, her greatest love was her grandchildren. She was a loving mother, daughter, granddaughter and will be deeply missed.
Alicia is preceded in death by her father, Larry Wayne McDonald; and sister, Julie Ann Beck.
