Analia Albouy Jung

Analia Albouy Jung, 64, of San Antonio, Texas, left us peacefully on May 6th 2025, surrounded by family. A beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Analia, or “Lela,” (to her grandkids) will always be remembered for her generosity, resilience, excellent cooking and love for her family.

Born on August 12th, 1958, in Mar Del Plata, Argentina grew up the only daughter of Ismael and Fanny Albouy and sister to one brother Gustavo Albouy. A determined occupational therapist, Analia trained in Argentina and moved to the United States for greater opportunity.

She continued her career at Christus Santa Rosa, where she worked as the Director of Occupational Therapy and hosted many events for others with disabilities such as Wheelchair Tennis. After stepping away from being an OT due to her own physical illness, she devoted herself to raising her daughter and supporting her daughter’s dreams of dance. When she wasn’t sewing costumes or taking her daughter to dance, she was serving her extended family and community by visiting the elderly, sick or needy. Her faith propelled her to attend to those in need and share the gospel.

On September 5th, 1987, Analia married the love of her life, Daniel Jung. The two shared a loving and devoted marriage that lasted nearly 38 years and yielded one daughter and three grandchildren. She loved exploring the culinary world and cooking with her husband. They also enjoyed taking multiple trips back to Argentina to visit her family.

Analia is survived by her husband Daniel, daughter, Kaitlen Ariela Thiede, and son-in-law, Jacob Thiede, as well as her grandchildren Eliana, Elijah, and Emmanuel Thiede.

A graveside service to celebrate Analia’s life will be held on June 21st at 12pm at Stonewall Cemetery 28 East Nunez, Stonewall TX 78671 and a light luncheon after at Lyndon B Johnson Group Hall 2489 Ranch Rd 1, Stonewall, TX 78671. All are welcome.
