Annie Belle (Ann) Pierce

Annie Belle (Ann) Pierce, 91, died Feb. 29, 2024 at her home in Fort Worth.  She was born Nov. 3, 1932 in Winters, Texas to the late William and Winnie Belle Patterson and graduated from Winters High School in 1950.  She married Vollie D. Pierce on June 4, 1950 in Winters then moved to Abilene.  She was employed at U.S. Time before being a full-time mother and later was executive assistant to the directors of MHMR of Wichita Falls and Hendrick Hospital in Abilene.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers Milton and Edwin, and sisters Imogene Onken and Betty Jo Brown.  She is survived by daughters Dee Ann Carver (Daryl Taylor) of Fort Worth, Mary Lynne (Glenn) Barham of Wichita Falls, and Carol Jean Pierce of Fort Worth; sister Karen Hancock of Abilene; six grandchildren: Keri Slusher, Courtney (Derrick) Anderson, Keith Eggins, Erin (Andy) Pinney, Brad (Stephanie) Barham, and Anna Marie Hughes, as well as 13 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.  At her request, there will be no memorial service.  The family wishes to thank Community Hospice of Fort Worth.
