Arcelia McCarty

ARLINGTON-Arcelia McCarty passed away peacefully Friday, September 17, 2021 at the age of 82.
CELEBRATION OF LIFE: 10 a.m. Friday, September 24, 2021 at Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel.
VISITATION: 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. (1 hour prior to service time) Friday, September 24, 2021 at the funeral home.
INTERMENT: Arcelia will be laid to rest in Azleland Memorial Park.
Arcelia was born Friday, May 5, 1939 in Mexico. She graduated from the University of Texas with a nursing degree and worked at Arlington Medical Center as an RN with the pediatric newborn babies for many years. She was a member of Rush Creek Baptist Church. Arcelia loved being with her family, whether it was fishing, riding bikes or just staying home. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend and will be missed.
Arcelia is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, Troy G. McCarty.
SURVIVORS: Son, Darrell B. McCarty; grandson, Christian G. McCarty; and numerous friends.
