Arthur “Mac” Williams

FORT WORTH — Arthur “Mac” Williams passed away Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015, at the age of 66.
Celebration of life: 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, at Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6, at the funeral home.
Arthur was born April 24, 1948, to the late Edward and Magalene in Louisburg, N.C. He proudly served his country by enlisting in the U.S. Army where he served in the Vietnam War. He was a truck driver for 35 years. Mac also was an avid fisherman and loved riding his Harley FXR.
Mac was a great father to his son and an even greater “Paw Paw” to his grandchildren. He was a kind and compassionate friend to all who were blessed enough to have known him.
Arthur was preceded in death by his parents; son, Kevin Williams; and sister, Regina.
Survivors: Son, Marcus Williams and wife, Ericka; grandchildren, Lamesha, Jada and Mehki; brothers, Jeffery, Mark, Edward Jr., Moes and Troy; mother of his children, Janice Alston; many extended family members and friends.
