Benny Carnes 1950-2024

Benny Don Carnes, originally hailing from Henrietta, Texas, was lovingly embraced into the family of Joseph and Ruby Carnes. He peacefully departed this life on May 16, 2024. Benny served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam era, a role he held with pride throughout his life.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved children, April and Corey Pilsch of Kalispell, Montana, and Bryan and Alicia Carnes of Fort Worth, Texas. Benny leaves behind a legacy of love and family, as evidenced by his five cherished grandchildren and three adored great-grandchildren.

In both his military service and family life, Benny exemplified dedication and strength, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew him. His memory will be forever treasured and his spirit deeply missed.

Visitation is from 10am to 12pm on Friday May 24, 2024 at Brown Owens & Brumley Funeral Home 425 South Henderson St., Fort Worth, Texas 76104, there will be a graveside ceremony following the visitation at 2pm at Greenwood Memorial Cemetery 3400 White Settlement Rd., Fort Worth, Texas 76107
