Bertha Garay Leon

FORT WORTH — Bertha Garay Leon passed away peacefully Saturday, June 22, 2013, at the age of 65.
Celebration of life: 3 p.m. Friday at Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel.
Bertha was born March 20, 1948, in Ibague, Colombia, to the late Alonso and Alicia Garay. Bertha was president of the Spanish speaking cancer support group and a volunteer for the Cancer Center and Blood Disorders.
Survivors: Loving husband of 46 years, Alirio Leon; son, Alirio Leon and wife, Rosalinda; son, Oscar Leon and wife, Eve; grandchildren, Ryelend, Reise, Abigail, Phoenix and Aiden; nine brothers and sisters; and many friends.
