Betty Jean “Kitty” Wilkerson

FORT WORTH — Betty Jean “Kitty” Wilkerson passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at the age of 77.
Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Saturday at Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel, Pastor Bob Massey officiating. Burial: Kitty will be laid to rest in Dido Cemetery. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Betty Jean “Kitty” was born June 1, 1936, to the late William and Ella Ashton in Orlando, Fla.
Survivors: Husband of 58 years, Allen Wilkerson; daughter, Connie Stokes and husband, Bruce; son, Wayne Wilkerson; granddaughter, Shelly Ondich and husband, David; grandson, Garrett Wilkerson; grandson, Brian Stokes and wife, Michelle; four great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
