EVERMAN — Betty Mae Craig, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2014, at the age of 78.
Celebration of life: 3 p.m. Tuesday at Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel.
Betty was born Aug. 8, 1935, to the late Otto George and Eva Mae Riemenschneider in Placedo. Betty was a longtime member of Everman Church of Christ. She was a member of the Texas State Guard, Ladies Auxiliary VFW, United States National Defense, Force Support Command. She was also a deputy commander of the 28th Division Affairs. Betty was a retired baker for the Everman Independent School District. Betty was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend who will be missed by all who knew her and loved her.
Survivors: Loving husband of 65 years, James Thomas Craig; son, Thomas Aaron Craig and wife, Cathy; son, Lonnie Wayne Craig; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; many friends.
