Betty Lou Richards

Betty Lou Richards was born in Fort Worth, Texas on February 15, 1943.  She was born to William A. Green and Margaret (Hensley) Green.

She passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 surrounded by her family.

She was the proud mother to her son, Donald Thornton and wife, Melva and daughters, Rita Ridley, Melissa Guthrie and Amy Short and fiance’, David Weihrich.  She loved God and her family more than anything.  She was a wonderful grandmother and great grandmother to (6) grandchildren and (10) great grandchildren that she cherished and loved dearly.

She had three sisters, Patsy Shetter, Annie Jewett and Macie Duncan.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William A. Green and Margaret Green; brother, Wesley; and sister, Ann.

She is survived by her (4) children and 2 sisters, Pat and Macie.

Betty will be forever missed by her family and everyone that knew her.  Her memory will remain in our hearts forever.
