Billy Everett Hawkins

May 17, 1962 — March 14, 2023

Billy Everett Hawkins, 60, of Haltom City, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on March 14th, 2023.

Billy was born on May 17th to Bill Hawkins and Alice Bedford in Fort Worth, Texas. Billy attended Haltom High School and was active in Football and Baseball.

After graduation, Billy worked with his father and other family members as a framer for many years. In high school, he met Krista Hawkins, and they wed in 1990, and had 3 children, Bo, Randy, and Hayle.

Billy was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he knew they deserved. His family and grandchildren meant more to him than anything else in the world, something that was seen by all who knew him. Billy was an extremely hard worker and was working until his last breath. He was the most understanding, loving, and fierce protector any family would have been thankful to have. To say we are going to miss him forever is a huge understatement.

Billy was predeceased by his brother Randy Hawkins, and father Bill Harold Hawkins. He is survived by his wife, Krista Hawkins, Children, Bo Hawkins, Randy Hawkins and spouse Alexis Baxter, and Hayle Hawkins, his mother and stepfather, Alice and Gary Bedford, grandchildren, Jase, Aleah, Lucas Alvarez, Waylon and Oaklee Hawkins and Natalie and Lillian Baxter. Billy is also survived by numerous loving family members.

The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to Brown, Owens, & Brumley Family Funeral Home & Crematory. There will be a viewing at Brown, Owens, & Brumley Family Funeral Home & Crematory on Tuesday March 21st from 5pm to 7pm and the service will be held the following day, March 22nd at 11:00am.
