Billy Ray Henson

Billy "Bill" Henson, 85, passed away on January 22, 2023, in Fort Worth, TX.

Bill Henson was born on June 29, 1937 in Fort Worth, TX, to Howard and Daisy Henson. Bill had four siblings: Jerry, Ronnie, Roy and Linda. 

Bill graduated from Trimble Technical High School in 1955. He went on to study at Arlington State College. He started his career at Freed Appliance Distributors in 1958. He eventually became one of the owners of the company until it sold in 2005.

Bill married Joan Hood on January 20, 1956 in Fort Worth. The couple had 3 children: Sheree Henson, Renee Henson, and Kevin Henson.

Bill is survived by wife Joan, his children Sheree and Kevin along with Kevin's wife Robin. He is also survived by his grandchildren Joshua Hussey (Patricia), Ben Hussey (Lyndsi), Sarah Hussey, Kevin Henson, Jr. (Blakely), Jessica Urbanovsky (Dustin), and Jonathan Henson, his sister Linda as well as 12 great grandchildren. 

Bill is preceded in death by both of his parents, his brothers Jerry, Ronnie and Roy, and by his daughter Renee.
