Bobby D. Becknal

WEATHERFORD — Bobby D. Becknal passed away peacefully surrounded by his family Sunday, Feb. 22, 2015, at the age of 72.
Celebration of life: 10 a.m. Thursday at Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel, the Rev. Gary Ward officiating. Interment: Bobby will be laid to rest in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to The Gideons International or Samaritan’s Purse.
Bobby was born Sept. 21, 1942, in Fort Worth. He proudly served our country by enlisting in the U.S. Navy. Bobby was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend and will be truly missed but never forgotten.
Survivors: Wife of 52 years, Mary Becknal; son, Mark Becknal and wife, Stephanie; daughter, Shari Jackson and husband, Mark; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Richard Becknal; sister, Emma Pryor; and many friends.
