WATKINSVILLE, GEORGIA-Brandon Keith Averitte, 31, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2019.
Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Monday, August 26, 2019 at Brown Owens & Brumley Family Funeral Home.
Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home
Interment: Brandon will be laid to rest in Laurel Land Memorial Park.
Brandon was born Thursday, September 3, 1987 in Fort Worth, Texas, the son of Les and Cheri Averitte. Growing up, Brandon was an avid lover of sports, excelling at baseball as a second baseman and pitcher. He also loved skateboarding and his shoe collection. He graduated from Eastern Hill High School in 2006. Brandon moved to Florida and then Georgia, where he was studying to be a journeyman electrician. He was fun, intelligent, kind, big-hearted, loving, joy-of-a-person to be around. Brandon had a gentle heart and loved music. He will be greatly missed.
Brandon is preceded in death by his grandparents, Keith and Betty Averitte; brother, Brandon Denson; and cousin, Kyle Averitte.
Survivors: Brandon is survived by his wife, Ashley Ulm Averitte; parents, Les and Tammy Averitte and Cheri Averitte; sisters, Ashley Averitte and Katye Richardson; brother-in-law, Michael Richardson; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; and many friends.
