It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Calvin Lee Cooper, who passed away on July 6th, 2026 at the age of 41 in Boyd, Tx.
Calvin was born on October 30th, 1984 in Arlington Tx to Patty Hart and Randy Cooper. Calvin worked in construction for over 20 years. Calvin enjoyed tinkering, cooking, playing guitar, singing and listening to all music. Calvin was always ready to lend a helping hand and would do anything for anyone, anytime. He forgave quickly, without judgment, and met others with kindness and compassion. Known for walking or riding his bike wherever he needed to go—rain or shine— Calvin was truly weather-resistant. He faced life with determination and resilience, living with passion, loving deeply, and facing every challenge with unwavering strength.
More than anything, Calvin hoped to make his mother proud. He accomplished that goal, she was incredibly proud of the man he became. His generous spirit, forgiving heart, and enduring love for those around him will be remembered always. Calvin was recently saved and baptized and we take comfort in knowing we will see him again John 11:25–26 "I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he dies, yet shall he live.”
