Carl Lee Boyd

Carl Lee Boyd, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on April 30, 2026. He was born on May 24, 1952, in Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, to Roland Boyd and Olene Bernice Watson.

Carl proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and was honored with the Air Force Achievement Medal. He was also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He furthered his education by earning an associate degree through the Community College of the Air Force and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Columbia College.

Carl worked as an engineer for Fort Worth ISD. He enjoyed fishing, playing guitar, and teaching Sunday school. He will be remembered for his faith, his love for sharing the Bible, and the special memories made sitting around the house while he played guitar.

Carl is survived by his loving wife, Ping Wang Boyd.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, May 31, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. at Chinese Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas. A graveside service will be held at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.

Carl’s life was one of service, faith, and love, and he will be deeply missed by those who knew him.
