FORT WORTH-Charles Edward Ashcraft passed away Sunday, September 20, 2020 at the age of 80.
GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at Laurel Land Memorial Garden.
VISITATION: 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 23, 2020
Charles was born Wednesday, February 21, 1940 in Keller, Texas to the late Millard and Lavada Ashcraft.
He attended Joshua High School and was inducted into “Rockabilly Hall Of Fame” playing with Cavaliers. Charles loved playing music, coaching baseball, outdoor grilling and loved the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers. He also loved to travel and the family had many vacations together that included camping, fishing and boating time on the water. Charles was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend and will be deeply missed.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, James Ashcraft.
SURVIVORS: Loving wife of 59 years, Theresa Dawkins Ashcraft; daughter, Cheryl Stellner and husband, Steve; son, Chuck Ashcraft Jr.; sister, Ann West and husband, Skip; grandsons, Chuck Ashcraft III, Gary Michael Ashcraft and Graham Ashcraft; granddaughter, Shelly Wicke; great grandson, Campbell Douglas Ashcraft; great granddaughters, Kisha and Jazmin; great grandsons, Braden and Payton; and many friends.
