Clara Bee Griffith, age 90 of Fort Worth, Texas earned her final wish by passing from this world in her sleep in her own bed. Born Clara Bee Tigue in the township of Clark, Arkansas. Eldest daughter to Rosie Henthorn and Albert Tigue. She no longer suffers from Alzheimer's which caused her and the family such pain for many years.
Clara was a lifelong nurturer loving all children, plants, and animals. Over her lifetime there were countless people she helped in many ways. She was a loving woman who made quilts and blankets for family members, pillows for teachers, baked pies for elderly neighbors, and grew flowers to beautify and feed the bees and butterflies.
Per her wishes, there will be no services however a family wake was held on Friday, October 10th to honor her and James.
Her beloved husband James Franklin Griffith of over 44 years had proceeded her in passing in October. 2002.
Clara leaves behind many loved ones and friends. Surviving her are two daughters and their spouses Mary and Miles Thornton, Patricia Griffith and Daniel Grant; seven grandchildren and spouses Jennifer Knights, Natalee Moreno, Jonathan Grant and Shelby Staley, Mathew Thornton, Mark Thornton, Roselyn and Cameron Barnes, and Lukaven Griffith; four great grandchildren Joseph Mosley, Lillian Mosley Larochelle, Ella Kay Stermer, and Tidus Barnes; one great great grandchild Noah Larochelle.
Clara will be missed greatly. She leaves a legacy of loving nature and honoring her Native American heritage.
