Cynthia Hearon, lovingly known as “Grammy,” went home to be with the Lord on 10/02/2025, at the age of 72. She was surrounded by her family who cherished her deeply and will carry her memory forever.

Born on 08/26/1953 in Fort Worth, Texas. Cynthia grew into a woman full of warmth, strength, and grace. Her greatest joy in life was her family. Whether it was preparing a home-cooked meal, sharing stories and memories at the kitchen table, or simply being present with a smile and a hug, Grammy had a way of making everyone feel loved and valued.

Cynthia was a proud wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Her family will remember her for her unconditional love. She poured her heart into her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life. To them, she wasn’t just “Grammy”—she was comfort, laughter, and love.

She is survived by Don Hearon - husband, Lisa Brock - daughter, of Cushing, OK, Kelly Handy - daughter, of Cushing, OK, William Handy - son-in-law, of Cushing, OK, William Handy - grandson, and Hannah Handy granddaughter in law of Sperry, OK, - Seth Lee Handy Grandson and, Nathaniel Handy - grandson, Justin Brock - grandson, Kannon Handy - great-grandson, McKinlee Handy - great-granddaughter, and Patricia Cassel - sister..

She was preceded in death by Jacob Canada - father, Delora Canada - mother, Iris Hernandez - sister, Tommy Cobb - sister, Karmel Uselton - sister, Jacob Canada brother - and Russell Brock - son-in-law

Cynthia’s life was a reflection of kindness and compassion. She loved with her whole heart, and her legacy will live on through the values she instilled in her family and the countless lives she touched.

A celebration of her life will be held on Friday October 10, at 11:00 am at Longvue Baptist Church 3420 Longvue Ave. Fort Worth TX 76116.

Friends and loved ones are invited to gather and honor the beautiful life of a woman who meant so much to so many.

Though our hearts ache with her passing, we rejoice knowing she is at peace and reunited with those who went before her. Her love will forever remain in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her.
