Donna Anderson

March 14, 1938 — March 17, 2026

Donna “Nana” (Pike) Anderson was a kind hearted, loving, and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend. She departed this life gaining her angel wings on Tuesday March 17th just after her 88th birthday.

Donna was born on March 14th, 1938 to Elbert & Gladys Pike. She spent her childhood in Campbellsville, KY where she spent most of her time riding her bike with friends, playing basketball, or visiting the mill with her father. This was also where she developed a love for sewing and needle work which would grow into a life long hobby. After graduating high school she attended nursing school where she thrived. Shortly after which she became a Nurse.

After moving to Cherry Point, NC Donna married and had three children - Christian, Alizabeth, and Sean - who were her pride and joy. She adored being a mother and raised her children to be creative and to find the magic in life. They settled in Spring Lake, Michigan where her children grew up. Together they all loved going to Grand Haven Beach in the summers, skiing in the winters, and sailing on Lake Michigan year round.

After her children were grown Donna lived an adventurous life. Traveling to many foreign countries, trying new foods and experiences, collecting various skills in crafting, and ever expanding her wealth of knowledge. Eventually she settled in Euless, TX where she worked for the Richland Hills Police Department and Max Health Clinic for nearly 20 years where she made life long friends and impacted many more lives.

Her love for her children was later matched by her love for her son in-law Stephen and daughter in-law Jennifer as well as her grandchildren - Austin, his wife Chelsea, Grayson, Zakk, and Aine - and eventually her great grandchildren - Anson, Sebastian, Everly, and Atlas - Donna stepped in to the roll of Nana gloriously and with her whole self. She brought compassion and creativity to not only the little ones in her life but so many around her. She made sure her grandchildren knew about their Scottish and Irish lineage, which she had a passion for, and taught them many skills around nature and crafting.

Throughout her life Donna was kind, loving, funny, adventurous and creative. She loved her family and friends more than anything else in this life. With maybe the exception of Needle Felting or rescuing her furry friends in need… or pigs.
