Dorothea Stofle Easterling, 95, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2024, in Fort Worth, Texas.

Interment/Memorial Service: 11:15 a.m. Friday, April 5, 2024 at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.

Dorothea known by all as Dottie, Was a member of The Catholic Daughters for many years, she traveled extensively with her husband while he was in the Navy being stationed at several US locations as well as many other places like Midway Island and Guantanamo Bay Cuba. She enjoyed traveling so much she continued to do so well into her retirement visiting amazing places like Hawaii, Israel,Aruba and Italy. She was Owner operator in the trucking industry for 18 years. She loved cooking and baking for her friends and family, Her favorite and most important thing was spending time with her family.

Dottie is preceded in death by the her husband of 59 years, Robert Kenneth Easterling Sr, son, Robert Kenneth Easterling Jr., daughter Kathy Filkins Her parents Sammie Stofle and Lena Roper. Her brother Ellis B Stofle, Grandson Erick Julian Bennett.

Dottie was the proud mother of four children David Filkins, Michele Easterling Ebberts (Mikki), Jeannette Easterling Bennett, and Bobby (Robert ) Easterling. She is survived by her sister Norma Jensen. A loving Grandmother of 11 Grandchildren 29 Great Grandchildren and 9 Great Great Grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and many friends.
