FORT WORTH-Ellen Lou Hass Ramsey went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at the age of 85.
CELEBRATION OF LIFE: 1 p.m. Saturday, April 30, 2022 at Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel.
VISITATION: 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 29, 2022 at the funeral home.
INTERMENT: Lou will be laid to rest in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Ellen Lou Hass was born Friday, July 10, 1936 to the late Fred and Winnie Cole Hass in Kiowa, Oklahoma. She attended Kiowa Elementary School and then attended and graduated from Grapevine High School. She worked at the First Baptist Church of Fort Worth and also Rolling Hills Baptist Church. She was very active in all activities in the church. She loved to read, travel and interpret for the deaf. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend and will be deeply missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Freddie Hass; sister, Jo Kincannon; daughter in law, Cindy Ramsey; granddaughter, Hannah Ramsey; and great granddaughter, Evie Ramsey.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Debbie Erwin and husband, Junior; son, Bill Ramsey; son, John Ramsey and wife, Janet; grandson, Trey Erwin; granddaughter, Hollie Harrington and husband, Chris; grandson, Wade Erwin and wife, Brandy; grandson, Caleb Ramsey; granddaughter, Shannon Townsley and husband, Rick; grandson, Billy Ramsey and wife, Whitney; granddaughter, Taylor Ramsey; seven great grandchildren; and numerous other family members and many friends.
