Esteban “Stephen” Felipe Powell-Farre'

Esteban “Stephen” Felipe Powell-Farre', of Aledo, Texas, passed away on September 8, 2026. He was born on December 6, 1957, in La Cumbre, Argentina, to Jorge and Myriam Powell.

Stephen spent more than 40 years working in sales, but the people in his life were always his greatest joy. He loved traveling, being outdoors, golfing, fishing, hiking, watching soccer and football, and playing cards with family and friends.He especially loved watching and cheering on his grandson at all his sporting events

A faithful member of his church, Stephen was active in the men’s Bible study group and Band of Brothers. He had a heart for serving others and could always be counted on when someone needed him.

Stephen is survived by Shelley, his wife of 44 years; his daughter, Amber Powell; his son, Brent Powell; and his grandson, Tanner Kurr. He is also survived by his brothers, Guillermo “Billy” Powell and wife Elsa, Enrique “Henry” Powell and wife Liana, Andrés “Andy” Powell and wife Beverly, Samuel “Sam” Powell and wife Graciela, and David Powell; his sisters, Priscilla Segar and husband Tony, and Nancy Marazzi and husband Alex; his sister-in-law, Lynda K. Click; his nephew, Jett Click and wife Kailea; his niece, Brianna Pino and husband Cameron; and many more family members and friends whom he loved deeply.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jorge R. Powell and Myriam Powell-Farre'; his sister, Sandra Lookabill; his brother-in-law, Timothy D. Click; and his in-laws, John D. Click and Peggy S. Click.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing Stephen is home with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. This is a temporary separation until we meet again in Heaven.

A celebration of Stephen’s life will
be held Monday, October 5, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Christ Chapel Bible Church West, 3910 E. I-20 West Freeway, Willow Park, Texas.
