Evelyn Marie Brown

HALTOM CITY — Evelyn Marie Brown passed away Monday, Dec. 30, 2013, at the age of 54.
Celebration of life: 10 a.m. Friday in Brown, Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel, Pastor Mark Spence officiating. Interment: Evelyn will be laid to rest in Nelson Cemetery, Azle. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Evelyn was born Sept. 14, 1959, to J.D. and Wilma Marie Cowsar Brown in Fort Worth. She was Elvis Presley’s biggest fan. She had a zest for life and cherished her family above anything else.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her father, J.D. Brown; paternal grandparents, I. Dosson and Elizabeth Anglin Brown; and maternal grandparents, James Rea and Clara Ellen Tunnell Cowsar.
Survivors: Mother, Wilma Marie Cowsar Brown; siblings, James Brown, Marcella Tillison, Diana Fundis and Helen Wilson and husband, Ricky Wilson; 16 nieces and nephews; 26 great-nieces and great-nephews; and six great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
