Evelyn Ruth Cavanaugh

FORT WORTH — Evelyn Ruth Cavanaugh passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at the age of 87.
Memorial service: 2 p.m. Monday at The Welcome Table Christian Church, Fort Worth.
Evelyn was born April 15, 1928, in Henrietta. She graduated from Malakoff High School with the honor of salutatorian of her class. She received a full-ride scholarship to TCU. Evelyn married Sgt. Kenneth Cavanaugh on May 1, 1948, and they were married for 50 years until his death in 1998. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Sally Stockton; and beloved husband, Kenneth Cavanaugh.
Survivors: Daughters, Karen Harbour and Kendra Barr; son, Kenneth Cavanaugh; and five grandchildren.
