Ezequiel Hinojos Enriquez, 72, passed away on May 22, 2023, in Arlington, TX.

Ezequiel Enriquez was born on January 20, 1951 in Fort Worth, TX, to Esequiel Enriquez and Agustina Enriquez.

Ezequiel grew up near downtown Fort Worth in a barrio called "Rock Island". This was where he learned about the importance of family and community taking care of one another. It's where his grandfather taught him to have a strong work ethic and his grandmother taught him respect and responsibility through high expectations and discipline.

Ezequiel attended Trimble Technical High School and then immediately enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. He fought bravely in the Vietnam War, returned home seriously wounded and was awarded two purple hearts for his efforts. Since that time, he proudly represented the USMC as a Disabled Veteran and guided other veterans to the VA for services they were entitled to receive.

Ezequiel began a lifelong career with the Union Pacific Railroad from which he retired after 39 years of service. He attended Tarrant County Junior College and studied criminal justice in order to serve the City of Forest Hill as a reserve police officer. Later in life, he graduated with an Associate of Biblical Studies from Calvary Cathedral International Bible College.

Ezequiel was best known for loving the Lord, Jesus Christ, who died on the cross for all of our sins. He never took that for granted and shared the gospel at any opportunity he was given - through ministry, personal relationships, and simple acts of kindness. He also loved to travel with his wife of 26 years, Yvonne, and his family. His favorite past-times were cheering on his Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys or watching a really great movie based on true events about the impossible being overcome due to someone's great faith.

Ezequiel is survived by Yvonne Enriquez - wife, of Kennedale, Monica Enriquez - daughter, of Fort Worth, Christopher Enriquez - son, of Fort Worth, Ronelle Boyd - daughter, of Fort Worth, Eric Green - son, of Fort Worth, Rashad (Illa) Green - son, of Newark, Marissa (Pierre) Ard - daughter, of Arlington, Patricia Rodriguez - sister, of Fort Worth, Antoinette Ayala - sister, of Fort Worth, Sylvia Rivera - sister, of Fort Worth, 14 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, as well as, numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins who loved him dearly.
