JOSHUA — Fernando M. Perez I passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2016, at the age of 77.
Celebration of life: 9 a.m. Tuesday at Brown, Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel. Burial: 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Fernando was born Aug. 7, 1938, in San Antonio, Texas to Jesus and Olivia Perez. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of Reese Prairie Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Fernando Perez, Jr. and brother, Henry Perez.
Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Survivors: Loving wife of 33 years, Hazel Perez; son, Joseph Blea; daughter, Krystal Perez; daughter, Norma Jean Munoz; sister, Oralia Martinez; 14 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and many other extended family and friends.
