Glenda Karen Ward

WYLIE-Glenda Karen Ward passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at the age of 71.
CELEBRATION OF LIFE: Private with family and close friends.
Glenda was born Tuesday June 20, 1950 to the late Winston and Melba Ward in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. Glenda loved writing romance novels and just hanging out with her family. She loved her grandkids and loved watching them play ball. She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend and will be missed.
Glenda is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Waylon Ward; aunt, Ruby Stanley; son in law, Steve Murphy; and grandkid, Baylor Hays.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Julie Murphy; son, James Hays and wife, Megan; Brother, David Ward and wife, Marie; grandkids, Kailee Hays, Cole Murphy and Sydney Murphy; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
