Gregory "Greg" Hendrickson died on December 31, 2022 following a sudden illness. Greg was a very kind-hearted person that helped many people throughout his lifetime. He enjoyed helping neighbors, friends and his sister with projects. Greg was born in Duluth, MN in 1951 to John Dennis Hendrickson and Joan Kathleen Hendrickson (Jentoft). He graduated from Central High School in Duluth, MN. Greg attended Hibbing Community College, where he received a degree as a diesel mechanic. Upon graduation, he worked for a logging company in Dubois, WY and a mining company in Riverton, WY where he met his wife Judy Hendrickson (Pierce). Their daughter Andrea was born in 1980. Greg and Judy were married for 44 years. Greg was also an over-the-road truck driver for 5 years. Greg and Judy moved to Fort Worth Texas in 1983. Greg worked for Steed Construction until they closed in 2010. Greg attended and was very active at John Knox Presbyterian Church for 32 years. He was a current member of First Presbyterian Church of Fort Worth Texas. Greg served the city of River Oaks in many positions over the past 20 years.
Greg was proceeded in death by his daughter Andrea Lynn Hendrickson who died on November 20, 2022 as well as his parents and grandparents. Greg is survived by his wife Judy Hendrickson, sister Cindy Hendrickson (Tom Berlage), grandchildren Cheyanne, Korbyn, Nathaniel, Margaret, Kaydyn, Braylee and Silas. He is also survived by a great grandson Lincoln as well as many friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at First Presbyterian Church of Fort Worth (1000 Penn St., Fort Worth, TX) on January 20th at 2:00 pm for Greg and his daughter Andrea.
