Iris Porto-Vargas

FORT WORTH-Iris C. Porto-Vargas passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at the age of 82.
CELEBRATION OF LIFE: 1 p.m. Friday, April 29, 2022 at Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel.
VISITATION: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (two hours prior to service time) at the funeral home.
Iris was born January 20, 1940 to the late Ismael Porto and Carmen Vargas in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister and friend and will be missed.
Iris is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 16 years, Salvador Ruiz; and brother, Ismael Porto Jr.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Iris Joyce Delgado and spouse, Humberto Morales; son, Ivan J. Delgado and spouse, Yvette; sister, Carmen I Porto-Vargas and spouse, Carlos Rios-Torres; brother, Ivan Porto-Vargas; grandsons, Ysmelle Cucuta and spouse, Chelsea, Danny Joe Cucuta and spouse, Shelby; granddaughters, Daniris Cucuta and Jessica Banda and spouse, Tony; grandson, Xavier M. Delgado; great granddaughter, Abby Richman, Alinta Cucuta, Carmen Cucuta; great grandsons, Isaiah Cucuta and Fenix Cucuta; great-great granddaughter, Marleigh Cucuta; great-great grandsons, Malachi Cucuta, Santiago Banda and Dominic Cucuta.
