Beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to many passed away peacefully to be with her Lord on November 6th, 2023 at the age of 89 after a long battle with Dementia.

She was born in Frederick, OK on November 4, 1934 to Thomas Alfred Allen and Veda Lee Allen. She attended Lindale High School before studying education at Texas Christian University, then went on to become a long time educator and retiree of Fort Worth ISD.

Sue will always be remembered for her amazing cooking, hospitality, contagious laugh, and positive attitude in any situation. She was known for having the biggest heart and could brighten any room just by her clear love for others. We couldn’t have asked for a better mother, Nan, or Sweet, and will miss her dearly every day. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved her.
