Joe Bob Gilbreath

Fort Worth-Joe Bob Gilbreath passed away peacefully Saturday, January 25, 2020 at the age of 89.
Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at Brown, Owens & Brumley Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel, 425 S. Henderson St., Fort Worth.
Burial: Joe Bob Gilbreath will be laid to rest in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Rose Garden.
Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m., Monday, January 27 at Brown Owens & Brumley Funeral Home.
Joe was a longtime member of Bible Baptist Church of Rendon. He was an avid churchgoer, 50+ years at Fairpark Baptist Church, currently a lifetime member of the South Side Masonic Lodge #1114 Ancient Free and Accepted Masons, a caregiver and a father figure to many children. Joe was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Marthie Nell Gilbreath; son, Larry Gilbreath; and his parents, A.F. Gilbreath and Maggie Akin Gilbreath.
Survivors: four sons and five daughter-in-laws, five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, a brother and numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
