Judy Lee Alexander, age 74, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on November 4, 1951, in Uvalde, Texas, to parents who instilled in her the values of hard work, honesty, and devotion to family.
Judy was united in marriage to the love of her life, Robert Alexander Sr., with whom she shared 50 wonderful years of marriage and raised three children. Their story began as high school sweethearts while attending Lake Dallas High School, and together they built a life centered on love, family, and lasting memories.
She attended Texas Woman’s University and later devoted herself to her family and community. Judy lived in Krum, Texas, for more than 20 years before making her final home in Valley View, Texas.
Judy was a devoted wife, dedicated mother, loving Grammy, and loyal friend. She cherished time spent with those she loved and was especially known for sharing stories that brought laughter and joy especially to her sweet granddaughter, Abi. Her presence was always felt at the center of conversations, where her warmth and quick wit made everyone feel welcome and at home.
She was a proud member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed painting ceramics, a hobby through which she expressed her creativity and attention to detail.Judy was admired for her honesty and straightforward nature. She spoke with sincerity, always telling things as they were, and those who knew her respected her deeply for it.
Judy will be remembered for her loving heart, strong spirit, unwavering honesty, and steadfast devotion to her family. Her memory will be treasured by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Robert Alexander Sr.; her sons, Robert Alexander Jr. and James Alexander; her daughter, Tana Schneider and husband Nick Schneider; her grandchildren, Cy Schneider and Abigail Schneider; along with other nieces and nephews, extended family members, and many dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Leon Russell and Dartha Lee Marx, and her beloved stepfather, C.B. Marx.She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Services will be held at the International Baptist Church of Arlington (Nations Church) on Friday, May 22nd.
