Benbrook-Judy Gail Berry, 65, passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2021.
Visitation: 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 4, 2021 at the Funeral Home Chapel.
Celebration of Life Service: 4:00 p.m., Friday, March 5, 2021 at Brown, Owens & Brumley Family Funeral Home, Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel.
Judy Gail Smith Berry was born June 18, 1955 to the late Bobby and Frances Smith in New Albany, Mississippi. She graduated from Trezevant High School in Memphis Tennessee where she spent a part of her life. She worked 40 + years as an electronic assembler. Her husband of 32 years, Harvey Berry and she had a son, Michael “Brian” Berry who was the center of her world. Judy loved traveling and spending time with her family. Judy had many interests and hobbies throughout her entire life which consisted of genealogy research, poetry and especially loved playing the piano. She spent her entire life playing the piano but also had many poems published that she wrote. Judy will be deeply missed by her son Brian, family and friends.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents and husband Harvey Berry (32 years and then divorced).
Survivors: son, Brian Berry and wife Leticia; grandson, Braylon Berry; granddaughter, Michelle Berry: grandson, Joe Angel Vallejo; grandson, Daniel Vallejo; granddaughter, Gaby Vallejo; great-granddaughter, Aaliyah Vallejo; brother, Bobby Smith; sister, Jennifer Smith Tanner; aunt, Linda Murry; uncles, Richard Murry and Kenneth Smith and countless friends.
