Kim L. Clark, age 69, of Saginaw, Texas, passed away after a difficult battle with Alzheimer's on July 3, 2026.
Kim was born on April 24, 1957 in Pampa, Texas, to Ira Tommy and Shirley Virginia Gist Clark. He was a 1976 graduate of Pampa High School. Kim was a man of remarkable dedication who worked incredibly hard throughout his life to provide for his family. He found his greatest peace on the water, whether spending the day in his boat on Lake Ray Roberts or casting a line into the peaceful mountain streams of Colorado, where some of his happiest memories were made. Above all else, he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose kindness and love left a lasting mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. We find comfort in knowing that he was welcomed with open arms at Heaven's gates by his beloved Grandma Jewel.
Kim is survived by his loving wife, Carol, with whom he shared 45 incredible years of marriage. He is also survived by his son, Shawn (Anna), of Sherman; his daughter, Ashley (Josh), of Fort Worth; and his brother, Darin (Tena), of Pampa. Kim's legacy lives on through his cherished grandchildren, Blake, Eli, Vera, Carly, and Kinley, as well as his two great-grandsons, Nate and Luke. He also leaves behind his best friends, Frankie and Diane of Henrietta, along with many nieces, nephews, in-laws, friends, and extended family members, all of whom he loved dearly.
As Kim would say, "Buy the boat, take the trip, eat the steak, and this beer's on me because it's just paper or plastic, and you can't take it with you."
A service to honor Kim's life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to the Alzheimer's Association .
